Real estate agent set free

Mike & April have been thinking about selling their house recently. When the first agent arrived to look at the house April said that the person wasn't right. So they messaged some friends in Auckland to suggest an agent which they did. This is when they met Rhonda.

This is their story:

When Rhonda arrived we talked and she happened to be a Christian. The moment she said she is a Christian, I saw something in her that was not right, and before that i was praying for a Christian agent too. Mike arrived, talk about the house then they talked about God for awhile then prayed for her, casting out demons from her..yup..demons plural. it took us 2 hours I think. She felt freedom. but she can't speak tongues yet but she felt the holy spirit moved her. we think we need to pray for her some more.

Rhonda's side of story: she said she had a dream last night that there were black cats around her and there was another cat on her arm. Then she saw a lady sitting with her leg folded towards her and her head was down. When this lady lifted her head towards her she saw something so ugly under her chin/throat. As soon as she said that I sensed there is a spirit that needs to come out from her. Then while we were praying, the holy spirit showed me the spirit of cancer forming. So we cast that out too.

Open mic. night

A few years back I was working as an accountant. One of my clients owned a bar in the middle of town that specialized in live music. I could see by working on his accounts that he was really struggling to keep it afloat so I was trying to think of ways that I could bless him.

At the time there was a lady in our fellowship who was an amazing singer, and I also saw that he had an open mic. night on in his bar once a week. So a group of about 6 of us went down there one night and spent some time and money there while the lady sung some worship music. The bar is in a basement and it is very dark. The people there were a bit taken aback but you could tell that they were all listening intently to the beautiful music. To be able to shine the light of Jesus in that place was amazing. No-one that we know of repented and accepted Jesus that night, but I know some seed was scattered.

Then this week I met Sebastian, who has become part of our fellowship and is also an amazing musician. We haven’t been back to the bar for a while so I thought we could go back there and Sebastian could sing some worship songs. So Sebastian, Irene & I went along there to once again bless the business.

We turned up around 8pm and there was no-one there. Literally nobody. Just the owner. He said he’d had a cancellation that night which is why it was so quiet. He also had a moon boot on because he’d done something to his achilles tendon. We ordered a drink and sat down to chat. I invited the owner over to join us but he wasn’t keen.

While we were chatting I sensed God say to me to give the owner $50. Not $20 or $40, but $50. So as we got up to go I asked him whether I could get cash out. He asked how much I wanted to get out. Before I could say anything he said, “do you need to get $50 out?” So of course I immediately responded affirmatively. I wanted to buy something so I could get cash out with it so I bought a ginger beer and got $50 out. Then once he gave me the $50 I gave it straight back to him and told him that we were there to bless his business. He nearly had tears in his eyes and said how he was going through some hard times.

I then asked if I could pray for his achilles tendon and told him how I’d prayed for people in the past who have been healed. He agreed so I went round behind the counter and prayed for him. After a couple of prayers he took the moon boot off and said that it felt better. I told him to be straight up with me and he said he was always honest with everyone. Sebastian then looked him directly in the eyes and said, “do you believe in Jesus?” He said he was on the fence about that. We have shown him what God’s goodness looks like and pray that will lead him to repentance soon.

Oh, and one other thing. My brother is staying with us and was really craving a ginger beer during the day. I had no idea about this until my wife told me after we left the bar holding a ginger beer in my hand. I was actually wondering what to do with it and I could have bought any drink at the bar but it just happened to be a ginger beer. So of course as soon as we got home I gave it to my brother.

Woman healed

The other day I was at a shopping centre with some brothers praying for people. I got rejected a whole bunch and was about to give up, when I saw a woman in her mid 30’s struggling to move her legs 5 centimeters at a time walking in front of me. I went over to her and asked if I could pray for her, she smiled and said yes. I prayed and nothing happened so, I asked her some questions and she said it was because she used to do drugs and now she is paying the consequences. I reminded her that Jesus died on the cross as payment for our sins, ALL of them. At this point we were joined by her daughter and her friend. We talked about deliverance and how Satan’s legal right is often just that we think he has one. So we all agreed that Satan had no legal rights and prayed for her to be set free and healed in Jesus name. she walked away taking full steps and did a twirl as we all praised the Lord that he payed the price so we don’t have to.

By his wounds you have been healed.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
